We can't thank Nurses Next Door enough for the care they gave my father during the last days of his life. After spending five months in the hospital, battling Lymphoma and severe complications, we found out that his cancer had spread aggressively to his brain. The week of Thanksgiving he was released to come home to hospice care. His conditions and medical needs far outreached what hospice was able to cover and we needed additional, but skilled, help. I made desperate phone calls two days before Thanksgiving, hoping we could find the expert assistance we needed to take care of my dad in his final days. Giving him peace, comfort and dignity. Nurses Next Door came out to our home and spent a great deal of time with us, even though it was obvious we would be a very short term customer - and during a holiday at that. They found someone to spend the night at our home, giving us a chance for much needed sleep and peace of mind - and they gave us quality time with dad. That nurse got my dad on a medication schedule that we were able to follow once she left, she tended to his failing body - and most of all, without knowing it - she tended to our hearts. I would not hesitate to recommend Nurses Next Door. They gave us such peace of mind, they gave my dad flawless care - their presence and assistance helped us as we went through some of the hardest and saddest days of our lives.
The service we received for my father's care was horrible. The staff and management were not caring, unresponsive and very unprofessional. I was completely dissatisfied.
Working for this company has opened my eyes to home health care and has given me so much appreciation for the service! The staff consists of some of the most caring, outgoing, and professional people I have EVER met and worked for! The care they give and their values exceed the standards both professionally and personally. I would work for them forever if I could, and I will always recommend their care to others and would use them first if I needed it!
This company is horrible. Lack of communication! I'm very disappointed in the services provided. The CNA's has no housekeeping experience they are very unprofessional. There is no communication and it is always last minute changes. Nurse Next Door is about making money and not making people life a better place. Or should I say not making life "happier today" I will NEVER recommend Nurse Next Door there is no client satisfaction.
The Nurse Next Door has been an amazing experience since day one. The NND team are professional and very well trained. I live 2 hours from my mother and my brother is about 40 minutes from her house; this agency has given us the peace of mind that mom is well taken care of while honoring her wishes to stay in her home and 'age in place'. The caregivers do everything from day to day chores around the house, cook meals, grocery stop, light cleaning, they take mom to all of her appointments, lunches and almost anywhere she wants to go. They even offer a monitoring system so I can check on my mother to see how long she has been laying in bed, or sitting in her favorite chair.
The Nurse Next Door has truly been a God send and I don't know what I would do without them and I would without a doubt recommend them to anyone!
